We’re currently looking for All round Logisticians with French language proficiency (B1 level minimum)

• Significant experience (minimum 4-5 years) in the following domains: logistics, supply, HR, construction, sanitation and finance
• Experience in preventative maintenance of equipment including vehicles, generators and other equipment used in our energy set-ups, biomedical equipment, and communication equipment (e.g. HF, VHF, satellite-phones, V-SAT, mobile phones)
• Experience in supply chain management, e.g. needs assessment, order management, purchasing, stock management and freight management
• Experience with organization and set-up of supply administration and related supply procedures .Warehouse management skills. Familiarity with cold chain maintenance and procedures
• Experience in supervising and training staff involved in technical installation and minor repair works of generators, cabling, chargers/inverters as well as vehicle management
• Experience in management of contracts and daily labourers
• Skills in management of IT equipment including the provision of internet services
• Experience in building design including the planning of financial and human resources
• Awareness of water and sanitation issues
• Experience of overseas building projects and experience with negotiating with local authorities is an asset
• Strong background in people management, including team leadership, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution is required
• Proven ability to train, teach and supervise team members, ensuring performance quality and development
• Previous NGO experience
• Willingness to work in low/middle income countries and unstable areas
• Adaptable and able to work in a multi-cultural team
• Flexible and able to manage stress
• Available for nine to twelve months
